Handbag Happy Hour. The name of the event says everything. It’s a happy hour with handbags! What gal does not like a good Kate Spade or Gucci bag? We all do. This benefit event is full of designer purses and totes being auctioned to support the Methodist Hospital Task Core.

The Methodist Hospital Task Core supports their medical staff through a variety of different functions and services. Their goal is to sustain preeminent patient care by supporting hospital medical staff.

Last year the Task Core raised over $40,000 and they are counting on this year’s event to be just as successful. Handbag Happy Hour will offer wine valued at no less than $20.00 a bottle, heavy appetizers, and an opportunity to bid on some of the hottest handbags of the season.

During my shoot, I got a sneak peak at some of the purses. My favorites are the large coral Kate Spade bag and the Gorgeous Silver Fox bag donated by Elan Furs. The Kate Spade would be perfect for traveling or long weekends at a resort with friends. The silver fox bag is so soft and luxurious, I could not stop petting the bag! Both are in the Bags with Tags category. All the handbags are donated, making their selection even

more impressive.

For more information on how to purchase tickets visit the Handbag Happy Hour Facebook page. The event takes place at The Willows on Westfield on Thursday, May 14th.
