We are in the midst of summer – warm temperatures, sunny skies, the perfect weather for some summer cocktails.  After all, who better to provide a little libation inspiration than the Loopers with some recipes for some of the most sought-after mixes in the nation.   Not only are we bringing you information on where to go and what to order at the hottest spots in Indy, but we are giving you these recipes to create cocktails from the comfort of your very own home, where the drinks are cheaper and the pants are optional.

When I think of brunch cocktails, I often think of sweet drinks like mimosas or Bellinis, but I have had nothing but Bloody Mary’s on the brain for over a month. Everyone has their own recipe but after tinkering and tweaking this recipe, Lerin shows us exactly how to spend Sunday Funday. Pair this mix with some out-of-this-world garnishes you will have yourself an amazing Bloody Mary bar.

1.5 oz. Absolute Peppar

.5 oz. fresh lemon juice

.5 oz. Worcestershire sauce

2 shakes salt

2 shakes pepper

dash of sriracha or tobasco

pinch of garlic salt

pinch of celery salt

2 oz Zing Zang

garnish as desired

Shake and pour. .

I love to do hair and I am as passionate about it as I am about being a host on IN the Loop. I’m the type of person to cheer someone up if they’re having a bad day or just to make others laugh, because i believe everyone should be happy every day.
